Chelsea Striker Reveals the Secret of the Air Duel
Alvaro Morata immediately became Chelsea’s goal machine this season. Of the five games he has scored three goals.
Interestingly the three goals of the Spanish national team striker was created through a header. Morata also revealed his secret to be the king of the air.
It turned out that during this time he learned a lot during the defense of his old two clubs, Real Madrid and Juventus. There he witnessed the direct style of playing Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Llorente who had been good at scoring goals through his head.
“In Madrid I always practice headers with Ronaldo, just look at his leap and energy, really very fierce,” said Morata as reported by the Daily Star.
“At Juventus, Llorente became my role model, I followed his way of looking for space and headed straight into the goal,” he added.
Morata bought Chelsea from Real Madrid for 60 million pounds sterling. He is expected to be a substitute for Diego Costa.
“I am happy to have a physical match, and last week I scored with a header despite a lot of high-profile players, I used to practice with Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini while still at Juventus,” said the player who signed Chelsea for five years.
